Altium Designer 14.1.5 Build 30772 | 1.71 Gb
Altium Development team announce the release of Altium Designer 14.1, along with updates to the Altium Vault Server, Private License Server, and our newest product, Team Configuration Center (TC2).
- Introducing Team Configuration Center (TC2)
By automatically configuring Altium Designer to use an organisation's approved set of tool configurations and preferences, document templates and output job settings, design teams can save set-up time, avoid design rework and eliminate fabrication issues caused by generating incorrect or poorly formatted outputs.
TC2 centralizes and deploys Altium Designer settings and preferences, and ensures the entire design team are all working from a company-standard set of document templates and output job formats.
- New Private License Server
The Private License Server has been updated to give organisations explicit control over their Altium Designer environment. The server now authenticates identities and roles within your design teams to deliver controlled access to the Altium DXP App Server, Vault and TC2. There are also improvements to the License Log file, system tray icon and visibility of subscription status.
- Altium Vault Server 1.2
The latest update to the Altium Vault includes improvements and new features, including Vault Data Acquisition. Working in harmony with Altium Designer 14.1, designers can now download design content from another Vault, into their own Vault. Acquired content can also be automatically adapted to reflect your own standards for PCB layer sets and schematic symbol presentation.
- Updated Personal Vault Server
Our free-of-charge Personal Vault Server now includes basic support for content acquisition. This means you can effortlessly source design content from other Vaults (including the Altium Content Vault) and update it to your own specifications, in your local Personal Vault.
Previous users of the Personal Vault should note that in this update the number of connections has been reduced from 3 concurrent connections, to now supporting a single connection at a time.
Altium believes that anyone who wants to make a difference using electronic products should be able to do so. And we help designers do this by giving them everything they need to be able to make this difference. We develop, create and sell electronics design tools - software and development hardware - that unify the entire electronics design process in one application, that is easy to use and as affordable as we can make it. This unified electronics design environment - it's called Altium Designer - is the result of years of development work but is now just one part of AltiumLive, a web-based portal that is the means by which we help professional electronics designers connect people and devices. The two go hand-in-hand. Altium Designer and AltiumLive together create an ecosystem that is greater than the sum of the parts. They bridge the gap that separates the design of a product and how that product is manufactured.
